KIDS’ CAMP RULES & INFORMATION

  1. Cost
For information, please see the Payment Form.
  1. Cooking
All cooking will be done under the supervision of the Camp Counsellors at campsites. All foods will be ordered in bulk. A schedule for meals will be provided.
  1. Fires
There will be a campfire at the Halah on occasion throughout the week. There are to be no fires at your campsite. Read the fire safety rules here.
  1. Responsibility
    • Each student is assigned to a counsellor. The counsellor will act as Big Brother or Big Sister and should be regarded with the same respect shown to a parent.
    • If discipline problems arise, these will be referred by the counsellor to their parent or guardian. If the student continues to be uncooperative, he/she will be required to return home.  Kids camp is a place to learn and primary attention will be given to Bible Study. Students who come are expected to have a commitment to this goal. It is for this reason that absence from any class or function must be with the approval of the parent or guardian and counsellor.
  1. Tenting
Boys not allowed in girl’s tents & vice/versa. They will share the duties relating to food preparation, dishes, etc. Duty rosters will be prepared and posted.
  1. Dress
All attendees should dress appropriately for all Bible camp functions. No ripped or faded jeans; no undergarments or midriffs should be visible either when standing, sitting or bending. Any slogans should reflect a godly character. Swimming attire and shorts should be modest. If you have any questions, ask a counsellor.
  • Females are required to wear dresses/skirts for memorial meeting and classes. Slacks are allowed for evening programs. Tops should have shoulder straps at least 3 fingers wide and necklines no lower than 3 fingers from the base of the neck to the top of the garment (front & back). Strapless clothing and bare midriffs are not allowed (including swimsuits). Skirt hems should be knee length and any slits should extend no higher than the knee. Shorts are to be at least as long as the end of your fingers at your side while standing. Sisters are required to wear head coverings to memorial and all classes.
  • Males are to wear long pants to classes and are required to wear shirts at all times except at the beach.
  1. Swimming
Only at designated area and time. Further details will be provided upon arrival.
  1. Boundaries
Attendees must stay within the Bible camp grounds. Any attendees who are found trespassing will be asked to leave the camp.
  1. General
Kids’ Camp will follow the same rules as the Adult Bible Camp. For further details see any of the committee members.
